NRA Basic Rifle

Date - Saturday Dec. 17^th

Location- Camp Minsi- Weytrex Side A

8am to 6pm Sat.

This course is at least 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning how to shoot 22 caliber rifles at paper targets. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; cartridge components; rifle malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a NRA basic Rifle Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.

This is a pre-requisite for NRA Rifle Instructor Course we are planning for early in 2023.

Cost is $55.00 per person

Lunch will be provided, if you want something other than water please pack it.

Class size will be limited based on the current state social distancing guidelines. Masks will be needed, the program will be outdoors as much as possible,
