Scouts, Leaders, Parents, and Scouters. Come and see an American Flag Retirement Ceremony at Camp Minsi. The ceremony is for all scouters to properly retire an American Flag. This ceremony was written and put in place to teach Patriotism, and the correct procedures for Flag retirement. This specific ceremony after being witnessed can be used at a council camp, district event, or troop event. If interested please sign up for a head count. Each individual who does sign up will be given a folded American Flag to help with the retirement.

Parking for this event will be in the parking lot. The ceremony will take place at the Camp Minsi fire circle starting at 6:00 PM. The preferred trail is starting at the AD PAD office building, going past the front of the dining hall and ending at the fire circle. If this day should have inclement weather, the Flag Retirement Ceremony will still go on, but held inside the Dining Hall.
