So
Why Should I Send my Son to Camp?
1. Because it's fun!!! When you ask
Scouts why they go to camp, the number one answer is because it's fun!
From swimming and fishing to shooting BB guns and hiking, Cub Scout camp
is designed to be fun all day long.
2. Because going to camp helps boys learn age
appropriate independence. A recent research study found that
first year college students were more likely to survive freshman year if
they attended a summer camp as a youth. Boys who come to our camp
learn more than just how to tie knots, they learn a growing sense that
they are capable of more than they realized.
3. To Build Self-Confidence the Old Fashioned Way.
Kids need more than just positive affirmations to become self-confident.
Camp is all about trying new things. From crossing the monkey bridge to
learning how to swim, your boy will build confidence by learning new skills
and trying new things. Our camp was designed for Cub Scout age
boys, and our goal as a staff is to help ensure your child's success.
Nothing builds confidence more than a sense of accomplishment!
