 Progressive Programs to Meet the Needs of all Cub Scouts! Nestled in the Pocono Mountains, Akelaland is a Cub Scout Resident Camp that offers programs for Scouts from Tiger Cubs through Webelos II. Your stay at Akelaland will be filled with activity from the start to the finish of everyday! There is always something to do at camp! Our day time program includes time spent in all three of our main program areas, aquatics, shooting sports, and the Outdoor Skills Center. Each area provides different opportunities for Scouts based on their age and ability.Additionally, there are special programs to start and end each day. Morning open program offers Scouts an opportunity to choose the activities they are most interested in. Morning programs offered vary from week to week, but commonly offered activities include such activities as Whittlin' Chip instruction, Slingshot, Action Archery, ultimate Frisbee, time on our Climbing Cube, and many other activities. On Wednesdays we will be celebrating the Centennial Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America with a day-long fun-filled extravaganza. Each evening will offer a different camp-wide activity. All Cub Scouts will leave camp with fun-filled memories and a wealth of new found experience!
