Outdoor Skills
How could you be a Scout without learning how to tie
knots, build a fire, and study the natural world around you? The
Outdoor Skills Center teaches Scouts how to live comfortably in the
outdoors and to understand and preserve our country's natural heritage.
Scouts at OSC play games, go on hikes, build crafts, and study plants
and animals native to our area. Each area runs it's own unique programs. The four areas are:

Joseph LoPresti is the Lead Instructor of the Outdoor Skills
Center. Joey is the valedictorian of the Pocono Mountain West High
School class of 2011. This fall, Joey will begin his studies at
Princeton University. This is Joey's fourth year on staff.
