Lake Trexler

Lake Trexler is one of two lakes in Trexler Scout Reservation.  Both lakes on the reservation are man-made.  Our camp maintains two decks and a 100 foot dock.  We offer row boating, paddle boating and swimming.  The majority of Lake Trexler is open to fishing at all times.  Lifeguards patrol our lake by kayak whenever boats are being used.  To ride in a boat you must wear one of our PFDs (properly sized to you).  Additionally, every boat must have at least one swimmer.

Lake Trexler's sandy beach is a favorite of many of our Scouts!  Scouts who complete an early morning dip in our lake with the staff are also able to wear the Akelaland Frigid Froggie patch!
