Counselor-in-Training Program

If you are not yet 15, but would like to work on staff, you can volunteer as a counselor in training (CIT) .  CITs live, eat, and work with the staff.  The first week a CIT is at camp they rotate through all of our program areas so they can experience all of the programs our staff leads.  After they have finished rotations, then they choose an area in which to specialize.  They then work to learn all of the necessary skills to be a functionable staff member in that area, with the area director and senior staff serving as their mentor.

CITs are provided with two staff shirts and room & board.  There is currently no cost to serve as a CIT; however, CITs must receive a positive evaluation every week to return.  CITs who receive positive evaluations may stay as many weeks of the summer as they wish.  For more information on becomeing a CIT, please complete the following form.
