 Baker Pool Baker Pool is a recent addition to our camp! Opened in 2009, Baker Pool is one of the hottest (or perhaps coolest!) attractions in our camp. Baker pool features a zero entry beach, underwater bench, water sprayers, and a full size pool area that goes up to eight feet deep. Baker Pool is the home to our Learn to Swim program.
If you would like a Scout
Baker Pool also has it's own showerhouse which is open even when the pool is not. All Akelaland showerhouses and bathrooms have flush toilets and individual shower and toilet stalls. In the pool showerhouse, each shower and toilet are separated individually providing convenience and privacy should a child need assistance from a parent with showering or bathroom use.

receive swimming instruction during his stay, please let the
aquatics director know the first time you go to the pool. All
non-swimmers and beginners are encourage to participate in swim
instruction.
